Jonathan Kahn is the Founder and President of KEZAR CAPITAL. Jonathan is a third-generation San Franciscan and has been involved in the real estate industry, with a particular focus on private lending and multifamily/mobile home park investing. Previously, Jonathan spent 20 years in the financial services industry. He started his career at Montgomery Securities in San Francisco, and thereafter co-founded Seasons Capital Management and First Oak Capital. Jonathan served as head of trading and business development and was an integral part of both the firm’s investment and management committees. Jonathan graduated from the University of Oregon in 1994 with a B.S. in Finance and Management. Jonathan is an active member of Temple Emanu-El, an avid swimmer with the Dolphin Club in San Francisco, and a former member of the Concordia Argonaut Club. When not working, Jonathan enjoys time with his family and the local live music scene. He also volunteers to teach “Financial Literacy” in a number of Bay Area high schools.
